The Neighborhood
The Neighborhood is a cross-grade program where our students engage in activities in both large and small groups. We utilize the French Field, upper school play area, garden, and Sports Center. Our students can choose from an afternoon of arts and crafts, games, or just hanging out with friends in a supervised setting.
The Neighborhood was designed with flexibility in mind for both our students and families. Half or full day enrollment is available to complement other activities our students are participating in. For the safety of our students and your peace of mind, any student remaining on campus not accompanied by a parent after 3:15pm will automatically be registered into the Neighborhood program. Please be assured that your child will be cared for in the event you are delayed by unforeseen circumstances.
Study Hall
We offer study hall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 3:15 p.m. for grades 4-8. Study hall takes place in the library and is proctored by two faculty members.
Enrichment Classes
Our enrichment programs complement and extend our day program. Our students can choose from a variety of classes beginning at 3:15 p.m. Offerings often include dance, sports, robotics, theater arts, cooking, chess, fencing, lacrosse, taekwondo, and art. Classes meet once or twice weekly throughout the semester. We offer a new schedule of classes in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Fees for enrichment classes vary.
After School Private Music Lessons
Our students may schedule private music lessons with our percussion, piano, and guitar teachers on a first-come, first-served basis. Signing up for music lessons requires a commitment to attend all lessons. Lessons run from September to June with charming and informal recitals held twice a year. Students needing care before or after music lessons register in our Neighborhood program for a nominal fee.
