At SCDS, our parent community is vital in supporting all aspects of school life through the Country Day Parents (CDP) volunteer organization. Volunteering is optional, but it’s a meaningful way to get involved. We welcome parents with varying schedules and backgrounds to contribute in whatever way suits them best. There are numerous opportunities to participate, whether sorting used uniform donations, baking for the Harvest Fair, helping with gingerbread houses, chairing our annual fundraiser, or supporting classroom activities. Our goal is to match parents’ time and talents to the needs of our students, ensuring everyone can contribute in a way that works for them.
Our CDP Board members are dedicated to enhancing our sense of community while providing financial support to the school. Thanks to the hard work of many parent volunteers, we host various events, assist teachers and students, manage the lost-and-found and merchandise programs, and much more!
In addition to fostering connections, parent volunteers help raise essential funds to support our school. Our much-anticipated annual auction, along with smaller fundraisers throughout the year, helps us reach our $150,000 goal. Whether donating time, talent, or resources, there are many ways to make a difference and support our school community.
We invite you to join us in building a stronger, more vibrant community at SCDS!
