MEET Our Community

Board of Trustees

Sonoma Country Day School is a non-profit organization that is independently governed and financed. Our Board of Trustees are professionals and community leaders, most of whom are parents and grandparents of current and former SCDS students. We also have alumni who serve as trustees. We are fortunate to have a board that all share a passion for education and the SCDS community.

The Board hires the Head of School, oversees the financial health of the school, shapes policies, and makes long term plans to fulfill the school's mission. The standing committees of the board are Advancement, Audit, Buildings and Grounds, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Executive, Finance, Strategic Planning, and Trustees.
